Set a precedent

The Fillmore County Commissioners will decide at their April 2 meeting if they will require a full Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed Rein mine.  This is the first mine applied for in the county and an EIS should be required to set precedent.  The proposed Pilot Mound Township applications will include an EIS. 

The meeting will be on Tuesday, April 2 at 9:00 AM in the basement board room of the Fillmore County Courthouse.  Let's fill the house to encourage the commissioners to vote the right way.  It's worked for us so far.
